All the nations agreed that the Wildlife trafficking is a big issue that needs to be addressed as soon as possible because it can cause ecological damage and global instability. All delegations called to take immediate action to stop these criminal networks. Delegations like The United States of America,India, Botswana and South Africa are willing to unite with the other nations to do everything that is possible to find solutions and stop the issue.
In the first intervention, the delegations were looking for the countries guilty of major wildlife trafficking. There were severe accusations against China, Vietnam,The United States, and South Africa. The United States was avoiding points and defending its nation expressing that they were indeed taking action, but France was often contradicting the arguments of the United States.Congo and Botswana were blaming China for their poor measurements and their involvement in the Gold Triangle that is a criminal Organization in charge of wildlife trafficking.South Africa played one of the most analytic roles in the debate revealing the data of the countries that exported the most animals, and was the only nation that talked about finding solutions in the first intervention. In the registry we could appreciate quotes like: “`if there is no demand, there is no market” and  “Countries such as China are affected by animal trafficking”

The Committee continued with a brief intervention of France and south Africa making a summary of  what was said in the first part of the debate and continued with Vietnam rebooting one question that was made by the United states in the first part that talked about the usage of animals for investigation and scientific research and accuses the United states of victimizing themselves by not recognizing they play a big part in wildlife trafficking. The United States implements their “positive US leadership internationally”and with South Africa expressed some solutions that focused on the education and providing of legitimate jobs to communities.South Africa once again calls and emphasizes teamwork to achieve the ideal protection of the animals. There was also a call for help from the delegation of Singapur that was augmenting about their nation being used as a channel of communication for Wildlife trafficking and seeks help to create proper laws for their country.Brazil talks about the problem with the citizens and talks about how police had rescued thousands of species in the republic but also needs help dealing with their strategies because the lack of capital.

Kenya talks talks about the trafficking of bungalows but arguments that is difficult due to their

Botswana,China ,South Africa, The United States,France and Congo expressed the regulations that have been implemented and also focused on their commitment with the international arena to end the main issue of Wildlife trafficking.

HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL

The committee will be discussing the mechanisms for the protection of fundamental rights during elections in countries with political instability as the Human Rights Council. The delegations demonstrate in their opening speeches how they're all in agreement of providing and receiving the necessary help to ensure the security and protection of all citizens in unstable countries. The debate starts with the Russian Federation explaining the ICCPR, and proposes to follow the example of the United Nations department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs that helps countries with unstable political context. The delegation suggests the involvement of political and democratic experts to report on the elections to the Secretary General to provide assistance with the objective to create a better environment for the elections. The Cote d'Ivoire explains the fundamental rights violated during violence in the elections, the following being the right to vote, to protest, to be elected, to have the same rights and the freedom of speech. These rights should be preserved and taken care of. The Russian Federation presents the types of assistance that might be provided, such as the technical assistance, the support for creating a safe environment involving the military, and the organization and conduct of an electoral process. The delegation also presents multiple options for observation and reporting, including the panel of political experts and electoral observation. The ICCPR articles being violated are studied, including the Article 1, 3, 5, 6, 7 and 9. The fair and good handling of the monetary resources is discussed. The delegation of the United States of America states that military intervention should not be considered unless it is by the UN blue helmets and reminds the committee that the responsibility to ensure the political rights belongs to each government, not to other external delegations. The delegation proposes a new focus, directed to straightening governmental institutions without having the need for a military intervention. The session is suspended.

Continuing with the debate, the Cote d'Ivoire brings attention to the situation of a coup. Coups occur because of an abstaining leader or a not well managed country that leads to worse political stability and citizens that cannot fully fulfill their right to vote. The Russian Federation identifies the methodology in which the states are held in elections and political terms, those being the status quo, investigating the gaps and ambiguities and then listening to suggestions and considering the asistances necessary. The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan proposes a plan where the UN is more than a watcher, with the incorporation of political systems and implicit measures that are long term productions. The solution proposed not only incorporates whistleblowers, but it ensures that the next three elections have the right process where human rights are not violated. The delegation of the United States explains how monetary resources are not the sole solution of the problem if the country cannot even control their own political situation. The delegation believes there are other factors to encourage people to vote, such as a cease fire in the conflict and more safety to voters and to ensure their assistance to the elections. The state not only has to ensure the elections, but also the safety for the people who want to excerpt their fundamental rights to vote. The United States argues about how the government has to provide the people bridges to visit the voting places. The Russian federation proposes solutions such as changing the methodology, bestowing the authority to the UNDPPA.

SECURITY COUNCIL
By Antonia  Ángel

The Security Council committee begins its discussion on the Cameroon conflict and its humanitarian crisis in relation to freedom of expression and the restriction of linguistic diversity that has been evident since Cameroon's independence.

The delegation of Cameroon expressed its position on the conflict, stating that the government is not to blame for the current situation, on the contrary, it has been one of the victims of the belligerent groups that keep the integrity and freedom of Cameroonian citizens in danger.

Most delegations had a quorum in proposing a peaceful solution which would promote talks with the belligerent groups and the Boko Haram in order to reach a pacific and strategic solution that could benefit. At one point, the Cameroonian delegation proposed a possible solution to the conflict by making Cameroon a federal republic. Meanwhile delegations such as the French Republic and the United States of America proposed the intervention of some entities such as the FBI forces.

There was an open question as to how Cameroon will be able to deal with this conflict as the separatist groups have caused more deaths and damage to the country and have become uncontrollable. The delegation of the Federal Republic of Germany does not agree with the idea of a peaceful approach with Boko Haram but opens the possibility of dialogue with the other groups.

The Nigerian delegation considered that the best approach to the problem was to control the use of arms trafficked by this group, but the other delegations decided to expand on the motivations and goals of Boko Haram in order to find the most appropriate solution. The French and Uk delegations proposed to deal with the non-extremist part of this group and to use the efforts of the blue helmets and the funding of interpol and competent delegations of the security council to neutralize the other part of this group in a pacific way.

The Cameroonian delegation supported this idea but disagreed that a peaceful solution was the best course of action, thus it advocated for using force in the proper manner, and considered that this wasn't a violent act; rather, the delegation thought that this course of action would advance peace and put an end to the conflict.

After discussion and reaching some sort of resolution in which the delegations agree on the use of armed forces because of the uncertainty caused by the fact that Boko Harama will not surrender since this organization is a very violent and unpredictable group. The subject shifts to the Amazonian conflict and the Anglophone Crisis. The delegations came to the conclusion that having an Anglophone representative for the region was essential for linguistic and cultural representation, and they worked to change the constitution through a referendum in order to achieve their resolution.
